The "You're My Best Friend" singer and County Music Hall of Fame member, Don Williams (76), announced on Tuesday morning that is hanging up his cowboy hat and retiring. He had retired in 2006, but decide to come out of retirement in 2010. He spent 60 years (6 decades) in the music business. Williams said, "It's time to enjoy some quiet time at home. I'm so thankful for my fans, my friends and my family for their everlasting love and support." In 1978, Williams was voted the Country Music Association Male Vocalist of the Year. He 17 number one hits, including "Tulsa Time" that has won the Academy of Country Music Song of the Year Award in 1979.
