The first promo for Billy Ray Cyrus' new show, "Still The King", has been released. Fans who have been itching to see the country singer back on TV don’t have to wait much longer.
The 30-second commercial shows Cyrus as a fallen star who’s “doing all the wrong things for all the right reasons.” Vernon Brown, Cyrus' character, is seen as a scandal-ridden, washed-up, one-hit-wonder who was kicked out of country music, only to emerge 20 years later as the second-best Elvis impersonator around. When Brown (known as “Burnin’ Vernon”) is arrested after hitting an old country church sign while he was drunk. He’s sentenced to serve as the church’s handyman as part of his parole. However, Brown decides to pretend to be the church’s new minister, and he reconnects with a former one-night-stand (Joey Lauren Adams) — but things get complicated when he learns that he has a 15-year-old daughter (Madison Iseman) he’s never met Press play above to watch.
